1. Situation of Indian Exporters / EU Importers
India becomes more and more important to EU companies and organisations as supplier and sourcing partner in various industries.
However, in the last 35 years of our company history (our company is based in Germany since 1989), we keep on making same exprience and getting similar inquiries, especially with small and midsize customers from EU, when it comes to the subject of finding suppliers in India:
1. The big Indian B2B platforms and directories are hardly known here in EU countries. Also the focus and alignment of these platforms is different. Specially small and midsize companies (from EU) who never had any touch and experience with India before tend to be very hesitative to use these platforms for several reasons.
2. Those who are involved in the sourcing process (in EU), mostly prefer to get in touch with an exporter/manufacturer from India directly, without having any instances in between. (But where and how to find them in a first step ?)
3. Undoubtly also in EU / Europe Alibaba from China is the most well known platform, when it comes to find international exporters/manufacturers. However, here again, as with all big platforms, the number of potential and interesting offers from exporters from all across the world is overwehlming, with negative effects for potential exporters from India. Meanwhile Alibaba is also engaged in the large EU directories.
2. Solution
Neither we can compete with the big established platforms from India or other countries, nor it is our intention.
We rather intend to establish a simple, but very effective solution to improve the situation of exporters from India and accelrate their business (with EU markets) and on the other hand we would like to simplify the process for EU companies to find potential partners from India and to get in touch with them, without any big hazzles.
For this purpose we have installed a simple, but functional platform, which enbales exporters from India to present their company and allows interested parties from EU to get in touch easily. An engagement from our side in the actual purchase process is not included and also not intended on this platform.
As such, this platform is the first in the EU giving a 365 days visibility exclusively to Indian export oriented companies, interested in doing business in /with EU.
